Ahmed Seffah

Professor of HCI/Human-Centric Software Design and Engineering

These pages describe consultancy services, projects, publications, books, courses and talks on Human-Centered Software Engineering (HCSE). I coined the term HCSE to refer to human experiences and factors that quantify the quality of software products, systems and services from the human perspective including usability, security, privacy, accessibility, adoption, acceptability, safety, sustainability and trade-offs and conflicts between these quality attributes.  Nowadays, my academic research include HCI/Human Side of Cyber Physical Systems Design, Architectures and Patterns for Digital Twin and Physical Objects Integration, Sustainability Design and Human-Data Interaction.
